I had legitimate hopes about this 7". The thing is I think i lightly over-estimated everyone involved here, especially neo-hippie Devendra Banhart, who's starting to really get on my nerves (seeing him live made me realize he wasn't quite the dark brooding songwriter i wanted him to be). Xiu Xiu's cover of Devendra Banhart's excellent "The Body Breaks" is alright but quite predictable, Devendra Banhart's cover of Xiu Xiu's "Support Our Troops OH" is a joke.

Aside from the so-so content, the 7" looks great. Fans only.
